Thank you for everything so far! Sam and I only started in September, but I will always say thank you no matter how long it's been. :) Merry Christmas to everyone!

Sam- Rest in Peace Taryn 12-17-15

We as a human race don't realize the crushing weight of death. We joke about wanting to die before a math test, because it feels like death isn't real.  Death is a far, far time away from now for most of us, so now we feel invincible.  However, when someone we know dies, someone we saw everyday, we remember, that we are just human, and we are not invincible, we will die at some point.  We gloat and jest at death, when really, death is just binding his time until he can laugh at you back.  Today someone I went to middle school with passed away suddenly.  Just yesterday I was joking about how "Oh I would rather die than do to gym".  Today, there were no such jokes, today everyone is silent.  Right now it feels like the world has been spun off it's axis.  I am writing this today to tell you, you reading this right now, I have never been more grateful for everyone around me.  I realized today how much the people in this world mean.  There are people who I don't even talk to, but I know I would miss seeing them, happy, and with the people who mean so much to them.  This girl who passed away was so kind and caring to everyone, and I wasn't friends with her personally, but I saw her every single day, trying to make people happy.  Something you don't realize about death, as soon as that person leaves, you begin to forget.  You forget the small creases in their face, the way their eyes looked when they smiled.  Most importantly you forget their voice.

I encourage you to go to the people who mean the most to you and tell them how much they mean to you, because when they're gone, you will never forgive yourself for not saying it enough.  Rest in peace Taryn, we will miss you.

Sophia- Facts and Favorites

Here are just a few facts about me and some favorites of mine that maybe people would want to know! :)  (I saw Sam writing one so I thought maybe I should create on myself)

• My hair is in between a chocolate and dark brown color. (I did recently dye it burgundy but it's now mostly faded ): ....)
• My favorite books include Girl Online by Zoella and Tuesdays With Morrie by Mitch Albom (I'm sure I'll find new books to obsess over)
• My favorite stores include H&M, Khols, and many others, but I plan to visit Primark and Topshop asap!
• I'm obsessed with YouTube, I don't think some people understand. Some of my favorite youtubers include Zoella, Dan and Phil, Tanya Burr, ThatcherJoe, and just so many people who I'm watching constantly. (I've been really obsessed with vlogmas for this year)
• I don't really have a favorite school subject, because I'm not really taking any interesting classes, but if I had to pick one I'd choose English.
• I love food, but I don't really have a favorite. I once had a vegan stir-fry which was AMAZING. Pizza is really good too. I don't really have an all time favorite though.
• Dairy Milk chocolate is the best chocolate ever! (To bad they don't have any in the U.S)
• Favorite T.V. shows, well, I have watched a few anime's which were really good (death note and sao are amazing btw), but I love watching Once Upon A Time and shows like that. Friends is always a go to because I'm completely obsessed. As a kid I watched a lot of Home Improvement because my mom would always have it on.
• I don't really have a favorite color. I love lots of different colors like navy blue and burgundy/ maroon. I also love things like rose gold and copper. I also love the monochrome scale of shades.
• My bed room walls are mint green because I used t love everything mint green color.
• My go to outfit is probably a flannel with ripped jeans (or leggings) and some cute boots. 
• Hobbies include writing, designing interiors in my head, photography, a little bit of beauty, making quotes, being on my Tumblr 24/7, and so many more things.
• My birthday is on July 28! (two days before Sam's) I've never known anyone personally who has the same birthday as me!

Maybe we have some things in common! :)

Sorry I didn't post yesterday guys, I was on a school field trip to New York, which I will probably post about later this week, but today I figured I could tell you about myself with a few of my favorite things, and some random facts about me!

• Favorite Food- Pizza, duh
• Favorite Color(s)- Gray, Periwinkle, and Matte Black
• Favorite Subject- English
• Favorite Holiday- Halloween
• Favorite Book Series- Harry Potter, because J.K.R is QUEEN
• Role Model- again, J.K.R is QUEEN

Random Facts

• My eyes are never the same color twice, and they never look the same as the day before, but they are primarily hazel
• My hair is dirty blonde currently, and reaches just past my shoulders
• I am currently 5"5 3/4
• I only wear "jegging skinny jeans" (I have completely forgotten what real front pockets feel like)
• My least favorite food is seafood
• September fourth is my "vegeversary" (the day I became vegetarian)
• My favorite YouTubers are Onision and Danisnotonfire
• My favorite Marvel superhero is Captain America and my favorite DC comics superhero is The Flash

• July 30th (my birthday) is Neville Longbottom's birthday, and national cheesecake day

• My hobbies include, art, writing, reading, Tumblr, and constantly designing rooms and houses in my head

Sam- Vegetarianism 12-10-15

September Fourth 2015 is a very important date in my life, it was the day that I became vegetarian.  I had been thinking about doing it for almost a year and that was the day when I told my mom.  I was not met with as much enthusiasm as I expected.  It took a while for my republican, Christian, catholic mother to warm up to, but eventually it just became the norm (along with countless remarks and rude comments about how I'm "unhealthy").

I became vegetarian because the taste of meat disgusts me, and I can't stand the thought of a slaughter house being used just so I can increase my risk of heart disease (look it up).  I don't find it very hard to avoid meat in my daily diet, I avoided it even before I became vegetarian.

Do I have cravings?
Sometimes, mostly just for my favorite meals, but then I remember that in doing this I am not ending lives to survive.

What do you get your protein from?
I get this question a lot, and to be honest, it pisses me off.  Meat is not the only thing in the world that has protein in it, nuts, beans, and fruits all have protein in them.  I also have fake meat products that I have frequently that have tons of protein in them.

What do you get at restaurants?
I love soups and salads, soups are full of vegetables and salads are full of fruits, they also taste amazing despite being extremely healthy.

Do people accept you?
Ugh, mostly yes, but my family is just kinda stands me, every time we have something for dinner and I have to stay behind to make something for myself, it's a tsunami of insults and jabs, but I always respond with "at least I'm not mass producing animals to slaughter for food.

Sophia- Twenty One Pilots - Songs

Here are just a few songs that I've been loving recently. I chose these songs to share to you guy because of their meanings. The lyrics and music just go hand in hand. Also, since I do get stressed very easily and I can easily just become really sad, these are some songs I listen to to drown out my extra voices. Basically these are songs I connect to, and I thought maybe you guys would like to know about these songs. (Sorry if you've heard them already! But hey, give the song another listen to)

• Car Radio - Twenty One Pilots

Sometimes you have to sit in silence and really think about your thoughts. That's one of the main messages in this song. He talks about how someone stole his car radio, and he now has no music to drain out and masks his thoughts. "I ponder of something great/ my lungs will fill and then deflate/ they fill with fire, exhale desire/ I know it's dire my time today." These are the first lyrics you are encountered with when listening to the song. These lines talk about how sometimes thinking of something great can affect how you feel, in both good and bad ways. "I have these thoughts/ so often I ought/ to replace the slot/ with what I once bought/ 'cause somebody stole/ my car radio/ and now I just sit in silence." These are the next lyrics that you will continue to hear throughout the song. These lyrics talk about how someone stole his car radio, and he now has to deal with the thoughts he having, because there's no music to drown the thoughts out. Overall, the piano and drums behind this song (and every TOP song) go hand in hand. I just love listening to this when I have to drown out my thoughts or stress. (Kinda ironic)

• Goner - Twenty One Pilots (I have a TOP obsession |-/)

I have taught myself how to play the piano parts to this song. It's such a beautiful piano song if anyone is looking for something quick, easy, and beautiful to play. I've also listened to so many covers of this song, and each way everyone plays this song is different. This whole song is very repetitive. (Listen to the song and you will understand) "I'm a goner/ somebody catch my breath/ I'm a goner/ somebody catch my breath/ I wanna be know/ by you/ I wanna be know/ by you." My favorite lyrics to this song are, "Though I'm weak/ and beaten down/ I'll slip away/ into the sound." I just really like how those lyrics sound with his voice and the music. The words just speak so much when they say how when I'm weak, I go and drown myself (metaphorically) into the music. (Kinda similar to Car Radio. Actually no, very similar)

Sam- Dear People 12-9-15

So I basically hate everyone.  Mostly people who try to argue their point with out knowing anything about the subject being argued.  Only argue your point IF YOU ACTUALLY KNOW THAT YOU ARE CORRECT I cannot stress this enough.  Don't try to argue if you only think you are right, if you know, that based on facts that have been proven then argue.  GOD I HATE DEBATES WITH STUPID PEOPLE.  Please, please, back up your point with actual fact, I will gladly have a fact based, intelligent conversation with you (view the "our community" to debate with us and fellow viewers).  But, if you don't know what the hell you're talking about, then don't try to argue, GOD alright thanks for listening to my rant, small post today, I'll talk to you soon.
